Thresholds of Defense
We know your security needs change as you move throughout your day. Transform your environment making it beautiful, safe, and blend naturally with other décor in those spaces. While keeping you protected, our three Zones of Protection in thresholds of defense can be blended into any custom need you may have.
Zone 1: When Seconds Matter
Primary Threshold – Exterior
When facing a threatening situation often times your best defense is to escape and evade the threat. Zone 1 provides the essentials of protection from doors, with locking systems to slow down an attacker, to ballistic solutions to impede an attacker and offer protection from active shooter assaults.
Zone 2: When Minutes Matter
Secondary Threshold – Interior
Some attacks can come in the form of a prolonged sequence. Should there be a breach and an imminent threat is realized within the building, falling back to a secondary line of protection while you wait for authorities or private security personnel to arrive may be your next best option. In this case, you must prepare the area to survive a sustained attack. With solutions that integrate protection into the walls, floors, ceilings, furniture, and doors to withstand a continued attack from several methods of assault, survival becomes possible.
When Help is Not Immediately Available
Tertiary Threshold – Secured Interior
This is the worst-case scenario. Some people fearing an assault of this nature may need to consider an actual safe room. If your budget or space do not allow for such a room, we can offer our Zone 3 protection from a constant and prolonged attack.
Our years of serving high-value, vulnerable targets have given us the ability to integrate concealed safe areas into spaces that would otherwise not allow for such spaces. This solution can include areas from Zone 1 and 2, specifically in areas people tend to retreat to. You may never need this level of protection, but if you do, this option may save your life.
